StarterKit
A configurable bundle of common nodes, marks and editing behavior.
Applies to the product-neutral Classic preset and the default Block preset; the Word preset replaces some structures. This example uses Core DOM. See editor compatibility for product assembly.
@quirekit/starter-kit (MIT) combines common paragraphs, headings, lists, quotes, code, bold, italic, underline and history extensions.
Install and configure
pnpm add @quirekit/starter-kit@alpha
import { StarterKit } from '@quirekit/starter-kit'
const extensions = [StarterKit.configure({ heading: { levels: [1, 2, 3] } })]
StarterKit does not mount a view. Install a view adapter as shown in quick start. Avoid installing the same named capability twice; disable its preset entry before supplying a separate replacement.
Live effect
Edit text, select and bold it, then undo. This example additionally installs a site-authored shortcut extension, which is not part of StarterKit. Download JSON to inspect actual nodes and marks.
Individual options
See the StarterKit reference for every child, default and plugin link. Read configuration to choose between configuring a preset child and replacing it.
