Classic documentation

Embed the paginated editor and configure its interface, plugins and licensing for your product.

Classic is QuireKit's paginated document editor product. Its shell composes the workspace, ribbon, ruler, zoom and product plugins; an optional preset supplies Word capabilities. This section covers using the assembled product. For building your own editor, see Core docs; for ordinary extension integration and effects, see plugins.

Evaluation is free with no time limit; production use of commercial components needs an agreement, a free key or, for open-source projects, the open-source value, which does not remove the shell and engine's AGPL obligations. See free evaluation and community licenses.

Current availability

This is an Alpha preview. Public commercial-package distribution, prices, online purchasing and community application channels are not yet open. The examples consume real workspace packages. These guides describe the current product structure; actual use is governed by the supplied package licenses and agreements.

The quick start provides a real Word preset, complete host source and JSON downloads. Applications supply collaboration backends, accounts, durable storage and any optional capabilities they install.
