Commercial use

Confirm product lines, version coverage and deployment scope before installing capabilities.

For closed-source use requiring a commercial grant, removal of evaluation notices or uses outside the free conditions, first determine product lines and deployment scope. Eligible users can also read free use and community licenses.

Current product lines

Product lineScopeKey product identifier
Classic StandardWord editing, DOCX inside Classic, Classic AI and graphics assemblyclassic
Classic ProStandard plus review, forms and official-document templatesclassic-pro, including classic and internal docx
Layout export add-onPDF and OFD exportexport, confirmed separately
Standalone DOCX SDKDOCX reading, writing and conversion outside Classicdocx, not automatically included with Classic

Product lines define license scope; they do not install plugins automatically. Pro and PDF/OFD capabilities still require their packages. See product plugins. A Classic grant for internal DOCX conversion does not cover a separate conversion service.

Confirm before procurement

  • Required product lines and plugins, including standalone server or batch use.
  • Licensee, deployment domains, SaaS, desktop/mobile and customer-hosted delivery scope.
  • Update coverage date and maintenance/support arrangements.
  • White-label, customer deployment or third-party embedding rights that need explicit agreement.

Prices are public on the pricing page; online purchase opens soon, and purchases are currently made by email at [email protected]. Commercial delivery is governed by the actual agreement and supplied package licenses.

Licensing and versions

An applicable agreement provides the engine's commercial alternative within its covered scope. Key checks include product lines, domains and the update coverage date. Under the current version terms, covered releases and later patches in the same major/minor line remain usable; later releases outside that scope need updated authorization.

A key affects evaluation notices for its products. It does not replace package access, plugin installation or host services. Continue with license keys and deployment.
